“Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.” Albert Einstein
Significant Leadership is…
Recognizing that Self-Leadership success is a foundation for significantly impacting the lives of others.
Leading others out of the overflow of leading yourself. You cannot be a Significant leader until you have become a successful leader. That doesn’t mean you have to have acquired a bunch of stuff or accomplished major achievements; but is does mean that you have developed the power to live beyond the moment by living for what matters most- other people.
Recognizing the true value of yourself and others and being true to that value in your every thought, word and action.
Giving your time, your money, your energy, yourself in the service of others.
“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” Jim Elliot
Living for a purpose greater than yourself. Instead of consuming stuff, you are consumed with loving and helping people. “The tragedy is not in dying, it is in never living.”
Leading others by example, not control. Significant leaders don’t need a position or title; because they have earned respect to influence those that know them.
Leading others with no strings attached. You lead focused on what you can give, not what you can get. You invest in people not because of the value of the return, but because of the intrinsic value of the person.
Going beyond giving a onetime hand out, to giving an ongoing hand up.
The ability to see people not as they are, but as they can be.
Providing motivational and practical assistance at the same time.
Awareness that you cannot think in terms of efficiency when it comes to people.
Choosing people before tasks.
Giving out of abundance not out of need.
A successful person using their success as a stepping stone to help others move from survival, to Success and ultimately to SIGNIFICANCE.
Living for what matters most by recognizing, accepting and exercising your freedom and power to lead yourself and others based on your highest and best held beliefs, values and vision while fulfilling a worthy mission
Unleashing the full potential of yourself and others, by multiplying the power of faith, hope and love to make a meaningful contribution in the lives of others.
“Our most valuable possessions are those which can be shared without lessening: those which, when shared, multiply. Our least valuable possessions are those which, when divided, are diminished.” William H Danforth, “I Dare You”
Effectively partnering with God and others to give, live and lead from the heart and leave a lasting legacy.
“The tyrant dies and his rule is over, the martyr dies and his rule begins.” Soren Kierkegaard
“Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.” Albert Einstein

Are you focused on adding the most limited resources or multiplying the most valuable resources? We can always give an encouraging word, a helping hand or a listening ear.
“Share faith and you multiply faith. Share hope and you multiply hope. Share love and you multiply love. Be a Blessing and you will receive a blessing.”
