Kathy was born and raised in Erie, PA. She worked at the ERIE Insurance home office in Customer Service until 2003 when she transferred to Charlotte and to work as a Property and Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster.
She brought her many years of expertise to the Allen and Ballard team in 2023.
Her and her husband Rich have a daughter Kristina and son-in-law Lukas Duemmler and son Jared.
She has a special love for dogs and has volunteered for a local dog rescue and has fostered 25 dogs over the years.
She also volunteers as a lead dog puppy raiser for dogs that will become seeing eye dogs.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, walks on the greenway, a backyard full of wildlife- especially hummingbirds, horseback riding and family vacations. She is active in her local church and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
