As our client, you will have a team of highly qualified professionals working for you to provide you with the best coverage for you, your family, or your business. Building a long-lasting relationship with our clients is our number one priority.

Ann Allen
Ann joined her husband Fenn in the agency in 1997, serving as the primary customer service representative for 15+ years. Currently she oversees quoting and servicing all lines of personal insurance along with being the primary claims advisor in our agency. She and Fenn have three grown sons – Fenn, Josiah and Jacob, two daughter-in-laws- McKenzie and Francesca, and four grandkids- Miller Gray, Merritt Reid, Shiloh, and Uriah. She enjoys running, time with family, and most of all being “Mimi” to her grand-children.

Francesca Parisi Allen
Francesca joined our team in 2010, working part time, filing paperwork at the office. She specializes in quoting and servicing all lines of personal insurance. Naturally detailed oriented, she takes the extra time to review coverages with clients to make sure they are covered to meet their specific needs. She was born in upstate New York but has lived the majority of her life in Concord, North Carolina. She received her Bachelor degree in Finance from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is also part of the Allen family having married Fenn and Ann’s son Josiah. They have two beautiful children, Shiloh and Uriah. In the little bit of free time she gets when she isn’t working or being an amazing mother to her children, she enjoys being active, spending time with family and friends, and reading.

Josiah Allen
Josiah became a member of our team in 2015. He is the primary commercial and life insurance agent with Allen and Ballard Insurance. He grew up in Concord, North Carolina and attended Wofford College on a ROTC Scholarship. After receiving his Bachelor degree in Business Economics, Josiah was commissioned as a Signal Officer in the Army. Upon completion of four years of service and one deployment to Afghanistan, he joined Allen and Ballard as a licensed Agent. Married to Francesca Allen, they have been blessed with two wonderful kids, Shiloh and Uriah. In his free time, he enjoys running, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Jacob Allen
Jacob became a member of our team in the fall of 2015. In the agency, Jacob’s focus is on quoting and servicing personal lines insurance. He is also the primary agent who oversees the annual reviews for our current client’s existing policy renewals; making sure we continue to offer the proper coverages at competitive rates. He grew up in Concord, North Carolina and attended Jay M Robinson High School where he excelled in Football and Basketball. Jacob graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Geography degree, specializing in GIS. Although his degree does not directly correlate to his work as an insurance agent, he has put it to use over the years while taking multiple road trips across the US (including a road trip all the way to Alaska). He loves the outdoors, spending time with his close friends (most of whom he’s known since middle and high school), and being the best uncle to his three nieces and one nephew.

Barbara Heese
Barbara became a part of the Allen & Ballard Insurance Team in 2013, doing back office work. In April of 2020, she became involved in the day-to-day business of the agency, specializing in customer service for personal lines insurance. She grew up in Erie, PA and is also a part of the Allen family. She is Fenn’s (younger J) sister. Barbara works remotely, not because of Covid 19, but because she resides in Gilbert, AZ. She is married to Ben and they have two adult daughters, Madeline and Katherine, a son-in-law, Jordan and a grandson, Hunter. When she isn’t busy providing exceptional service to our clients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, decorating her home, cooking/baking, taking daily walks with her dog Cash (named after Johnny Cash), making pillows and reading.

Bigfoot
After years of directionless wandering, avoidance of the general public, and a refusal to get a real job, he decided to settle down and become an insurance agent. He began “working” (we’re not really sure what he actually does here) at Allen and Ballard in 2017. Specialties include eating his co-workers lunches, disappearing for long periods of time in the woods behind our office, and making guest appearances in agency videos/photos. Whenever he is not fulfilling his duties as an insurance agent, Bigfoot enjoys hot yoga, personal grooming, and photography (with an emphasis in photoshop).
